It gets serious. We enter the lowest lock of the
Fonseranes. 7 locks arranged in a staircase. Thanks to David we have pictures while the rest of the crew is working the ropes! There are 6 lock basins with a total raise of 13m 60cm (about 45 feet), it takes about 45 minutes to ascent. |
