Access to the 7 lock staircase is regulated by a 2 hour schedule. Passenger boats have priority. As it was a weekend afternoon they only allowed two groups of pleasure boats to lock up, then nothing happened and after an hour wait 3 passenger boats showed up and took the remaining cycles.

So we put the wheelhouse back together, Betty made her favorite knot (see log of May 19 log), we opened a bottle of wine and called it a day.
