We wait for the green light to enter the second tunnel at Arzviller. I make pictures, as I'm not driving!

Fredi and Thea are visiting. Fredi is a colleague of Betty's brother and works in Basel on the Revierzentrale and was a Rheinskipper before.

When I asked Fredi before the visit `will you drive once in a while' he answered 'don't worry about driving'. Little die he know that we had to pass through a 1.5 mile long tunnel right after leaving port. There are no tunnels on the Rhein!

So I'm enjoying a real vacation from Niderviller to Basel.
