A fall sunset  in Pargny-sur-Saulx. We have adopted a 4/1 rhythm. 4 days cruising and 1 day rest. We hope to make good time to reach our destination in Weil am Rhein and Basel. Why? Well that is another story.

Pargny-sur-Saulx has, according to our maps, all amenities of a small town. Butcher, bakery and three restaurants. But the maps are from times past, only 10 years old, but things have changed. The restaurants are closed, may be just a seasonal closing, but the bakery has a sign 'fermé' and doesn't seem to be opening soon.
