Nothing against butchers, but I think the town must have a very long tradition in chocolatiers and patisseries. On each street we find a store offering local specialties: Marzipan, Chocolate, Pralines, Chocolate covered Almonds, Meringues, ....
This shop we found next to the church and its name speaks volumes: "Confiserie du Prieure" - does it mean that Sweets are a substitution for Prayer?
