On July 13. Marc and Shari leave us in Diou after having cruised with us for nearly three weeks. Although this  picture was taken earlier on the Canal du Centre I did not want to exclude it from the web site.

Shari had handled with great skills and efficiency the aft ropes in the locks all the way from Lyon to Diou. Never did she complain, even when the weather was miserable for a few days.

The picture here represents a definite fashion statement. Shari in Peter's XXL rain-coat/life vest in the pouring rain! Yes, believe me, under all this she is smiling.

Marc, besides having look-out duties, kept a diligent log in his palm pilot of all wines consumed with dinner so he will be able to tell us three years from now that we consumed a good bottle of Burgundy on July 12th to accompany a BBQ dinner.
