It is very hot while we are in Lyon, up to 115F. The French call it Canicule.  To make sure even the four legged friends don't need to suffer too much you find old water fountains for dogs throughout the old renaissance quarter.

The quarter on the right bank of the Saône is a Unesco world heritage site.
